AFTERNOON EVENING

1

this was in memory, home to reach; ‘oh! Home is now a mountain.

Horizon do I’m drawn in canvass

where all dreams are dies by an afternoon.

this river an old

hands only lift a little of a water. Hearts

which they hold, stones miscarries  more.

Paddy crying this drought.

2

all an afternoon a drought burnt your’e paddy

in an a evening

sudden a beginning of a heart throbbing play of water

water wheels, water wheels all around earth and spheres

in my home in your home.
